Community engagement is at the core of everything we do. Whether you're a parent who needs help installing a car seat or an organization looking to launch a safety program, Car Seat Foundation is here to help.
Car Seat Inspections
Our certified technicians will check your car seat installation, identify any issues, and help you make corrections right on the spot. We offer appointments at our fitting stations and can set up weekly or monthly check locations at partner sites throughout central Ohio.
What to bring: Your child (or child’s current height and weight), your car seat and your vehicle.
Community Events
We organize and participate in car seat safety events across the region. These events give families free access to certified technicians who can check installations, answer questions, and provide replacement seats when available.
Through community safety grants, we may be able to families replace car seats that are expired, recalled, damaged, or have been involved in a crash. If cost is a barrier to your child's safety, reach out — we may be able to help.

We offer several training options for individuals and organizations:
Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician Certification — Become a nationally certified car seat technician.
CPS Refresher & Recertification Courses — Keep your certification current with continuing education.
Occupant & Passenger Safety Classes — Customized safety training for your employees or organization members.
